Building a Community Apiary

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Community Fund we’re creating a shared apiary, training beekeepers and bringing local honey to the heart of the North-West of England.

What We’re Doing

Set Up Our Apiary

We’ve installed hives and thriving colonies to give bees a healthy home at our allotments.

Training & Mentoring

Our volunteers are training with local BBKA experts, learning safe hive management and honey extraction so they can mentor others.

Sharing Local Honey

We’ll harvest, jar and share our honey with members and neighbours on a pay‑what‑you‑can basis, supporting biodiversity and community ties.
